The best variety of food you can find in London: It's called Borough Market 🍽️🇬🇧

Bianca Ahumada

Borough Market is a culinary icon renowned for its diverse and delicious food offerings. It is perfect for food enthusiasts and vendors to showcase their best creations. So read a long with me as I tell you about my experience exploring and trying the food for the first time.

Prepare yourselves as you enter an array of vendors. Instantly, as I took a step into the market, I was overwhelmed by how many food stands there were at view. So many students, people from work, families and Tourist came to market.

The first place that caught my eye was this reastuarant called Whiskey Ginger. Just from the look at it, the vibe was vibrant and eye-catching. Side note: You know the restuarant is good when there's a lot of people there.

When looking at their menu, it was interesting to see how Whiskey Ginger combines food from American culture. It includes hot dogs, burgers, and sandwiches all in one place! The perfect hub for taking American food to the top notch.

As I explored further down, I saw this huge line across from the cherry fruit station. It was a Lavendar Lemonade stand in targeted to Taylor Swift fans which I thought was so cool. I immediatly had to get one myself. Everything about it's flavour and it presentation was a 10/10. I would definitley reccomend trying it.

Aside from getting a refreshing drink, I needed to get myself a bag of cherries. They were all so so good and sweet. For a 1/2 pound it was 5 pounds, not bad of a deal at all.

Last but not least I realized that I was hungry after all. I decided to get some Fish N Chips with fries and dill pickes. Personally I wished I got some food the from the Whiskey Ginger instead because it the fish was a little bit too soft to my liking. If it was a little bit more crunchy it wouldn't been better.

After my meal, I later then decided to get some Gelato Icecream. It was delish ✨ The price for a small cup was 3 pounds not too bad for getting a complintary waffle to go onto it. In case you were wondering what flavor I had it was Vanilla Bean and Coconut flavored.

Overall from my experience going to the Borough Market, I was left with the impression of wanting to go back. There was so many different kind of foods that I wanted to try. As for reflecting on the market itself I love how lively it feels when you walk through all the food stands. They have places for you to sit, there's even live entertainment going on in the lounge area.

I got to see a great sense of community in presence while going to this market. P.S. If you're planning on going, please be aware that there will be lots of people. I went on a weekday; I can only imagine how crowded it would be on a weekend. Leaving on that short note, I hope you enjoyed reading this blog. Till next time, my friends 😊
